About Samaritan’s Purse
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine. Samaritan’s Purse is privileged to be part of the humanitarian effort in Ethiopia and legally registered as foreign charity to work in Ethiopia since October 08, 2018.

1. Job title: WFP GFD Procurement Coordinator
Location: Somali
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Bachelor’s degree Logistics and procurement or related field of study
- A Minimum 5 years of logistics, procurement, supply chain experience

- Amharic and English (spoken and written required)
- Somali languages strongly desired
2. Job title: WFP GFD IT Coordinator
Location: Somali
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- Degree from university, software engineering, computer science, Information Technology, computer related equivalent subjects
- Minimum two years’ work experience with NGO’s or UN agencies.
- Basic Information Management skills
LANGUAGE
- Amharic and English (spoken and written required)

3. Job title: WFP GFD Human Resource Officer
Location: Addis Ababa
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE NEEDED
- BA in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus
- At least 2 years’ experience in HR with other NGO or Private Organization
LANGUAGE
- Amharic and English (spoken and written required)

- Diploma in Accounting or related field
- At least 2 year of experience in the same position, preferably with a relief-based NGO.

- 3 to 5 years related experience in Project Management, Project Coordination, Food Assistance Programming; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in Humanitarian Aid preferred

- At least three years of experience in community engagement or program accountability, preferably in the humanitarian sector

- High level of attention to detail, good organizational and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and other accounting software
- Ability to prioritize own workload, work independently and work to deadlines.
- Good interpersonal and team skills and proven ability to be flexible in demanding situations.
- Sensitivity to cultural differences, and the ability to work in a wide variety of cultural contexts.
- Willingness to travel at short notice and often in difficult circumstances.
- Excellent communication skills and fluent written and spoken English
8. Job title: WFP GFD Finance Assistant

- BA Accounting, Finance or related field of study
- Two years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience working in an NGO setup will be an added advantage

- High level of attention to detail.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
