1.Data Center Facility and Power Engineer

  • Create Bills of Materials (BoM) and Bills of Quantities (BoQ) through on-site surveys and document reviews (e.g., Floor Plans, Wiring Diagrams).
  • Conduct maintenance and service repairs for Datacenter Systems (UPS, Generators, ATS) and Power Distribution Systems.
  • Install Data Center Facility Items and oversee overall maintenance for Data Center Facilities (DCF), actively participating in the process.
  • Install new units or replacement parts for existing systems.
  • Participate in the preparation of Bid Responses for projects involving DCF and Smart ICT Facilities.
  • Conduct Site Surveys, prepare Site Survey Reports, and develop Site Preparation Guide Documents.
  • Propose and design solutions according to client requirements, presenting them as needed.
  • Prepare Technical Proposals, Technical Compliance, Technical Support Documents, and Project Management Documents.
  • Calculate power requirements for data centers and other large projects.
  • Design power diagrams using AutoCAD or other related tools.
  • Proficient in preparing High-Level and Low-Level Designs, Acceptance Tests, As-Built, and other project-related documents.

Job Requirements

  • The ideal candidate should have:
  • At least two years of experience in participating in the supply, design, installation, configuration, and commissioning of DCF, SCS, and related projects.
  • Solid experience in responding to RFPs and preparing solutions based on client requirements.
  • Strong experience in deploying and troubleshooting various DCF items.
  • Expertise in power requirement calculation, cable size determination, and identification of other power items.
  • Experience in power requirement design.
  • Knowledge of identifying power consumption requirements of hardware.
  • Proven experience in designing, installing, configuring, and commissioning critical facility equipment.
  • In-depth understanding of power distribution systems, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), backup generators, and ATS.
  • Experience with Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools.
  • Capability to develop training programs for the data center operations team to enhance their skills and ensure a high level of competency.
  • Ability to collaborate with vendors for equipment procurement, maintenance contracts, and service agreements.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
  • Industrial certificates are a significant plus.

Education and Qualifications

  • Minimum BSC degree in Electrical Engineering 
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience as Senior DCF and Power Engineer
  • Industrial Certificate is a plus
