Ethio-Professionals’ Security Solutions (EPSS), is a non-governmental, not for profit organization with the headquarter in Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) established in 2021. EPSS is a humanitarian and development organization established with the aim of changing customers’ perceptions of safety, security, and wellbeing by outdoing ourselves every day. It provides landmine clearance, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), minefield survey, travel risk management services and explosive ordnance risk education (EORE) and importantly safety and security services, Rehabilitation and Conflict Resolution to help the recovery and development of affected communities.
EPSS in collaboration with Humanity and Inclusion (HI) is currently at the verge of implementing Explosive Ordnance Risk Education (EORE)activities in Tigray region at Axum and Shire areas.
EPSS is looking for qualified and competent applicants for the following positions:
EORE Co-trainer
EORE CO-TRAINER JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the EORE Team leader, the EORE co-trainer shall be stationed at Axum and Shire one at each and responsible for the activities in Axum and Shire districts and he/she will be responsible for overall activities implementation, EORE training, documentation of the project implementation records and reporting to the EORE team leader.
Main tasks of the EORE Trainer:
- Conduct EORE in the target areas in consultation with the EORE team leader and co-trainer
- Provide technical support EORE co- trainer for effective implementation of training,
- Keep the training records,
- Prepare timely reports and share with EORE team leader,
- Capture success stories of the project activities implementation and share along with the reports,
Reports to: EORE Team Leader
Term of Employment: Contract
Contract duration: Six (6) months
Staff required: Two (2)
Duty station: Axum and Shire
Job Requirements
- BA in social sciences, Political Sciences, or related field
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in project management, community mobilization and training
- Some EORE experience is required,
- Strong facilitation skills,
- Strong determination to promote gender equality,
- Tigirigna language knowledge is mandatory,
- Good understanding of English language,
EORE Trainer
EORE TRAINER JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the EORE Team Leader, the EORE trainer shall be stationed at Axum and Shire one at each duty station will be carrying out activities in the target woredas of the zone and he/she will be responsible for overall activities implementation, EORE training, documentation of the project implementation records and reporting to the team leader.
Main tasks of the EORE Trainer:
- Conduct EORE in the target areas in consultation with the EORE team leader and co-trainer
- Provide technical support EORE co- trainer for effective implementation of training,
- Keep the training records,
- Prepare timely reports and share with EORE team leader,
- Capture success stories of the project activities implementation and share along with the reports,
Reports to: EORE Team Leader
Term of Employment: Contract

EORE Team Leader
EORE TEAM LEADER JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the EORE team leaders shall be stationed at Axum and Shire one at each duty station and he/she will be responsible for overall coordination, EORE training, documentation of the project implementation records and report writing.
Main tasks of the EORE Team Leader:
- Plan for the EORE training and make sure the activities are ready to be undertaken,
- Conduct EORE in the target areas in consultation with the EORE trainer and co-trainer
- Provide technical support and direction for the EORE trainer and co-trainer,
- Follow up the deliverables of the EORE sessions and of the team under his/her supervision,
- Ensure the resources of the project are properly used and records are kept,
- Prepare timely reports and share with project manager,
- Capture success stories of the project activities implementation and share along with the reports,
- Liaise with regional, zonal and woreda stakeholders for effective implementation of the project activities,
Reports to: Project Manager
Term of Employment: Contract
Contract duration: Six (6) months
Staff required: Two (2)
Duty station: Axum and Shire
Job Requirements
- BA/MA in social sciences, Political Sciences, or related field
- 4/2 years’ experience BA/MA in project management, community mobilization and training
- Some EORE experience is required,
- Strong facilitation skills,
- Strong determination to promote gender equality,
- Good knowledge and experience on local and regional government operational systems and procedures,
- Tigirigna language knowledge is mandatory,
- Good understanding of English language,
